In this video, we will talk about the recent SmartThings announcement that the Echo Speaks SmartApp will soon be terminated. SmartThings also announced a new Alexa integration that must be installed so we will run through updating that integration. Echo Speaks is not dead a lite version is being created until the new version is complete that will work with the latest SmartThings standards. The exact functionality of each is not known at this time.
