In this video, we will be showing you how to link your Life360 account to the new SmartThings app using a SmartApp which will allow you to create Presence Sensors in SmartThings for friends and family. The Life360 SmartApp will also give you the ability to monitor speed, driving, latitude, longitude, address, sleeping, battery, and of course location.

This is a critical step in your smart home set-up that will allow your smart home to know if any individual is away or home which can trigger certain automation or could stop other things from happening using your SmartThings modes. You can also use this in conjunction with other presence sensors to create multiple geofence zones and as a back-up system. Like with all smart home technology the possibilities are infinite!
