Description
Whole House Water Shut-off Valve (NPT Standard Size) With the valve plumbed on the water main, you will be able to turn the water supply ON or OFF remotely through a Z-wave Home Automation system. If you’ll be away from home or on vacation, you’ll no longer worry about what could go wrong with applicances. If the water is on and an applicance springs a leak, the flood sensors (sold separately) will quickly detect the leak, automatically shut off the water supply to eliminate any further damage, and send a notification. This is also great for vacation homes, rental properties, multi-unit dwellings, and commercial buildings. Common applications include : Dishwasher, Water Heater, Washing Machine, Sink, Refrigerator, Bath tub. WV-01 uses a motorized ball valve that automatically turns off the main water supply when a leak or overflow is detected. Contains a brass valve with commercial grade seats and seals. Operates on the Z-wave Network. A Z-wave controller (purchased separately) is required. MADE – THE USA using the best practices. Ball Valves are certified Lead Free (NSF61G). These are cast – Italy using high quality materials and process standards. Commercial grade seats and seals are guaranteed to not leak for the life of the product.
