In this video, I will show you how to set-up a SharpTools Rule that will allow you to play music on an Alexa group with just a tap or as part of an automation.
This is powerful because asking Alexa to play on audio groups is a bit of a mouthful and in our case not utilized as much as it could be just because it’s easier to just play on the device that you are voice commanding. Now you can easily have many echo devices playing when you arrive home, wake up, or leave (maybe music for a pet). The possibilities are endless.
For this to work you must have SmartThings, Echo Speaks Smart App installed and have a free SharpTools Account.
