In this video, we are going to getting your Sonos devices talking for use within your smart home. This isn’t exactly straight forward but it is not hard. Basically, Sonos cannot read text (like Amazon Echo devices can) and turn it into a voice so you will need to create an audio file for your Sonos Speaker to play.

This is a little more work but you can customize the voice and it will say anything you want. Just follow the simple steps below and your smart home will be able to say anything when events happen in your smart home. Your imagination is your only limit.
